Watrous Manitou Marketing Group (WMMG)

The Town of Watrous, the Resort Village of Manitou Beach and the Rural Municipality of Morris No. 312 are municipalities that initially collaborated in the provision of funding and framework to create the Watrous Manitou Marketing Group in 2010. The Tourism and Economic Development potential for the Watrous Manitou area was, and still is, recognized by community leaders as an area that deserves and requires special attention towards creating quality experiences for people who visit as well as enhancing our communities for the wellbeing of the citizens who reside here.

The Watrous Manitou Marketing Group operates as a duly constituted membership based registered Non-Profit Organization aimed at enhancing the Watrous Manitou Area; specifically related to the promotion and facilitation of community tourism, community economic development and the marketing of such opportunities. Over the 11 years in existence the marketing group has grown and achieved a great deal in the tourism and economic development arena.
