Municipal Services

Water

The source of supply is three wells with a combined maximum capacity of 3.4 million litres per day. The Water Treatment Plant has a treating capacity of 3.4 million litres which has been made possible by recent renovations. The distribution capacity of the pumping units are adequate to provide pressures of approximately 45 to 80 P.S.I. except for an area located on the west side of town. However a new distribution main to be installed in the near future should alleviate this problem.

Sewage

The system is a gravity flow system with a two cell, four unit lagoon located east of the town limits
